October 1, 2009 - Eason Chan Collaborates With Ekin To Produce New Song.
In recent years Ekin's main focus has been on making movies.Last month he returned to Sony Music. Now he is in the process of preparing a new album. Ekin is aquatinted with Eason Chan and asked him together with his music director Chan Guang Wing to collaborate on this new album. Ekin feels that Eason has a great deal of creativity and is well versed in the performance of every kind of song. In duet this allows him to have a different kind of experience. They both collaborated on the song name 《新歌》. Ekin is hoping that in this different stage of his life he can do different things. The song sends a message to everyone that this is a new Ekin.
Ekin is also practicing singing and dancing in preparation for his up coming concert in December this year. Reporters asked him how he felt about Fala Chen taking her clothes off in a recent TVB drama and that this was not suitable for children. Ekin felt that this matter was nonsense. Even if his girlfriend needed to do this kind of plot he would have no problem. Reporters immediately wanted to know if he had wedding plans. Ekin said that honestly he hadn't given it any thought. He was asked whether he was afraid that Yoyo might wait in vain. Ekin laughed and said, "many of us are not married, Aaron is not married either, we are at the dating stage. I need to work first. I am still young." He laughed and said that if he did ever get married he would make it public.
Ekin is now publicizing that he will sing in concert on December 18 and 19 at Hong Kong Coliseum. He said that he feels very confident. Reporters asked if he would be inviting Jordan Chan as a guest to perform Young and Dangerous songs. Ekin said that this idea is pending but is not yet confirmed.
On October 4, 2009 Ekin will celebrate his 42nd birthday. Ekin laughed, "22 years old, That night I will be participating in a Mid Autumn Festival concert, perhaps friends will help me to have a birthday party.
