October 4, 2009 - Ekin performs New Song in Mid Autumn Festival Concert
This evening Ekin performed his new song at a Mid Autumn Festival concert in Shatin. Today is also his 42nd birthday. Ekin indicated that once his work there was over, he had already arranged to meet his girlfriend Yoyo Mung and his manager Lam San San for dinner to celebrate his birthday. Ekin also encouraged his fans not to buy him gifts, but to make charitable contributions. Ekin's birthday wish is naturally for his up coming concert to be successful. Reporters talking to him wondered if he might ask his former girlfriend to be an honored guest. Ekin seemed to be a little embarrassed at this question and said that decisions concerning special guests had not been made. Regarding marriage and children, Ekin said that he had no plans to de either of these things, he and his girlfriend have consensus on these matters.
It has been 6 years since Ekin was active in the entertainment circle. During this time he almost faded away. He was asked whether this had meant his income had paused. Ekin quickly replied, " Fortunately, I still have much work, for example I returned to mainland China, Japan, Thailand, and South Korea to film both advertisements and movies."
